As the CEO of Eysz, I am leading the development of a digital health platform that uses passive eye-movements as input to measure, diagnose, and predict neurological disease, starting with epilepsy.
My passion for improving neurological outcomes stems from my previous role as the Medical Director of the epilepsy program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, where I worked for 10 years. There, I focused on excellence in clinical care and research, and realized the need for better tools to accurately measure the burdens of epilepsy: seizures, side effects, and cognitive effects. Eysz comes out of my clinical work to help parents, caregivers, and physicians quantitate these outcomes and personalize treatment plans. I am also a board-certified neurologist and epileptologist.
