Joey Corigliano

Joey Corigliano is an expert in national security innovation and deep-tech commercialization. He has worked across industries including unmanned aerial systems (UAS), biotechnology, healthtech, and space technology. He has helped advance emerging technologies for national security applications within the US government, innovation accelerators and startups.

Most recently, Joey was a Program Manager for the Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub program by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), which helped regional startups engage with the Department of Defense for customer discovery and collaboration with military operators.

He began his career in the U.S. government, serving in the U.S. Secret Service and working on defense policy for U.S. Congressman Adam Smith. He later became Chief of Staff at Insitu, a UAS company in the Pacific Northwest.

After Insitu, Joey founded a healthtech company backed by NYU and Cornell. He completed Cornell’s startup accelerator and NYU’s startup bootcamp program. He also helped spin out a startup from the University of Washington’s Genomics Lab, which completed the Nucleate accelerator program.

Joey holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. from the University of Washington.
